HOMEOWNERS:  
Please make note of the information below regarding trash and recycling pick-up dates and regarding trash/recycle can storage.  It is the homeowner's responsibility to ensure compliance with proper storage of your cans.  If you are renting your unit, please be sure that your tenants know where and how to properly store cans.  If you or your tenant depart on a trash/recycle pick-up day, it is your responsibility to make arrangements for cans to be returned to their proper storage no later than the evening on the pick-up day.  DO NOT STORE YOUR CANS UNDER THE STEPS IN THE MULTI-UNIT BUILDINGS - It is against fire code and will result in a fine.

​​** Reminder for all homeowners **  
Place your trash and recycle cans in their designated and approved area:   
- In your garage, or  (multi-family units)
- On your back patio slab. (multi-family units)
- In your garage or designated area outside of your village home.  
On trash/recycle pick-up days, place your cans out no sooner than the evening before pick-up and return them to their designated storage space no later than the evening of pick-up day.
Not only does this provide a pleasant-looking community for owners and guests, but it also helps us comply with fire code. 
*** DID YOU KNOW ***
​It is against the fire code to store your can(s) under the steps in the multi-unit buildings.  Storing your cans in this area can lead to fines from the Fire Marshall, and fines incurred because of improper can storage will be the responsibility of the unit owner. 
Caswell Beach trash is collected every week and recycle is collected every other week.  

During summer/peak vacation months, pick-ups for multi-family condos changes from once weekly to twice weekly and recycle is collected every week on Saturday.  For 2024, the Summer schedule has not yet posted but should start by Memorial Day.

EXCEPTIONS:
Changes to schedule may happen due to holidays that impact normal trash/recycle collection days.
